been browsing facebook and multiply for the past hour. i wanna blog but i dont know what to write about. i was thinking of writing about cory and ninoy but some recent events at work have kept me wondering a lot rendering my mind immobile from writing.
tomorrow is school day for me. we're on our 4th module now, discussing the philippine policymaking process.i had my report last week on the legislative process in the country. one does not have to take this subject and read articles about the senate and the house of representatives to know what their primary task is, i.e. to craft laws of national significance. a mighty task, very cerebral even. but look at the profile of our congress and the senate. irony of ironies. not to belittle senators and congressmen who have no law degrees or who have not finished college but reality bites, policy making and analysis is no simple job. yes, success is not equated to having a college degree but for a job that requires strategic thinking and high-level of analysis, i think we should give justice to our country by electing people who can do the job and not those who, when conducting inquiries, think that they are just rehearsing their dialogues in front of a camera or those whose motivation for joining a state visit is to have their photograph taken with obama.
hay, im excited for 2010.
