classified.exe

last night was an eventful night. i had to reformat my laptop and let go of 3 years worth of files. 2 years worth of academic studies, pictures, journals, videos, programs, etc etc

whoever created that classified.exe virus, i hate you.

it started when i noticed a folder named classified.exe in one of my flash disks. i tried to clean it but failed. then my antivirus stopped working. at first, i just couldnt update it but after a few days, it totally refused to launch. so i asked help from my office friend who knows about this stuff. but when he tried booting it, ayaw na. huhu and we tried again. but it still didnt boot.

so he tried that system restore thing. ayaw pa rin. tried again. ayaw pa rin. until we were left with no choice but to do destructive reformatting.

so there, i hit that button. and everything was gone. poof!

bye bye files. bye bye 3 years of my life. memory na lang sya.

ill just make new ones.

Old version of classified.exe is a Friday the 13th malware!

After studying it, we found out that it only erased ntdetect.com.

ntdetect.com could be copied from a clean computer. you just have to look for a good technician to do it for you.

Yes, I agree with the previous post. You shouldn't have formatted your hard disk without consulting those who are able to cure the infection.

We have experienced a "blackout" but were able to recover.
