hitting 30

celebrating my 30th did not come easy. i didnt want to celebrate it :( but my classmates and friends were sweet enough to make sure that my special day wont just go unnoticed. hence, i had four birthday celebrations.

first was with my usual gang. in the midst of writing essays, they went out of their way to have dinner with me and to wait for the clock to strike 12 to welcome my 30th

and everyone even sang happy birthday in their native tongue. one remarked that we were like participants in the bandung conference some 30 years ago

the actual birthday was spent biking in east coast with my sister and housemates.

a very much needed updating with the SOLAIR girls. they really are women of strength :)
